In August 2026, Brandstetter’s KangaRoof installed new siding, soffit and gutters on a home in Crescent Springs, Kentucky. The siding is Royal Board & Batten in White, a vertical style that gives the house strong, clean lines. What the KangaCrew Installed
The homeowner chose Royal Board & Batten in White from Royal Siding. Board and batten is a vertical siding style: wide panels run up the wall, and narrow strips called battens cover the joints between them. The look borrows from traditional barns and farmhouses.
Crews also installed new soffit, the paneling on the underside of the roof overhang. Soffit finishes the eaves and lets air flow into the attic, which helps keep moisture from building up and leading to mold and mildew.
New gutters rounded out the project. They collect rain as it comes off the roof and carry it away from the siding and foundation, which helps protect the new exterior from water damage and the yard from erosion.
